Creating always needs to have a meaning behind it for me, and I want to give back to the people and animals who inspire me every day.
10% of all revenue from every piece sold goes to Tusk Trust, a charity doing vital work to enable and empower conservation efforts across Africa.
I am a self-taught oil painter exploring wildlife, culture, and human connection through my work. Painting and sketching has always been a passion, but it was given new life during an artist residency at Olepangi Farm in Laikipia, where I had the chance to hone my skills alongside other inspiring artists and creators in the middle of the Kenyan bush.
After stepping away from the more conventional life, I chose a very different path - one grounded in nature, community, and creativity. I now live and work in Liuwa Plain National Park, in the far west of Zambia. It’s one of the few truly remote places left in Africa, where people and wildlife coexist in harmony - offering me the space to be continuously inspired by my surroundings.
My painting process is deeply personal and introspective; a way of making sense of the world and my place within it. Through close relationships with staff and local villagers, I find inspiration in shared stories, traditions and heritage - elements that shape and inform my evolving body of work.
